SCAI Seeks Expanded Valve Coverage From Anthem

SCAI recommends expanded coverage of TAVR procedures from Anthem and coverage of TMVR procedures as well. We noted that with Medicare’s proposal to expand coverage of mitral valve procedures, Anthem’s non-coverage of mitral valve procedures is particularly out of step with the medical norm.
